EMASPHERE raises 5.7 million euros to accelerate the development of its financial reporting solution.
EMASPHERE, the platform that gives CFOs back control of their reporting through reliable, up-to-date data, announces it has raised 5.7 million euros. The round was led by its long-standing private and institutional investors (Whitestone, Sambrinvest and Dedicated). The goal of this funding round is clear: to go even further in developing its offering for CFOs, relieving them of repetitive tasks and making it easier to access and analyze their company's data.
EMASPHERE has always put CFOs' needs at the heart of what it does. The company's ambition is to build the most powerful and intuitive data analysis platform, addressing the challenges of SMEs in every industry.
Since it was founded in 2015, EMASPHERE's mission has remained the same: to design a solution that frees finance professionals from reporting stress. Hugues Vandepeutte, CEO of EMASPHERE, is a former CFO and knows this problem well. Incorrect information, reports that need urgent updates, long hours spent structuring information… EMASPHERE was created to address these challenges.
The solution structures data and automatically updates reliable dashboards, making it possible to identify growth opportunities and resolve organizational issues with confidence.
Hugues Vandepeutte, CEO of EMASPHERE: “We are delighted with this funding round and the renewed confidence of our investors. Finance departments don't want to spend valuable time collecting, structuring and sharing data in spreadsheets. Helping them meet these challenges is the reason the EMASPHERE teams and our partners exist. This new funding round will allow us to strengthen the support we provide.”
The uncertain economic and health context has accelerated demand for SaaS solutions, and in particular for performance management solutions. EMASPHERE has kept growing, maintaining average annual revenue growth of more than 50% since 2019 despite the health crisis. This success is due in large part to its 60 employees based in Louvain-la-Neuve, Ghent and Paris.
In concrete terms, this funding round will allow the scale-up to keep investing along two lines:
The success of this funding round is also due to the long-standing investors who renewed their confidence. This positive sign shows the shareholders' faith in the strategy EMASPHERE has pursued since its early days.
Frédéric Pouchain, CEO of Whitestone Group: “I am pleased to have taken part in this latest funding round for EMASPHERE, whose growth accelerated significantly in 2021 and whose outlook for 2022 is very promising. The strategic partnership recently signed with BNP PARIBAS FORTIS confirms the performance of its product, its robustness and its ease of installation. This investment falls within the growth capital part of the portfolio, which can represent up to 25% of the group's net asset value. This Belgian company is a crucial part of our Data Management and Solutions division.”.
Olivier Mertens, Head of unit – Digital sector at Sambrinvest: “We are delighted to have supported EMASPHERE for 2 years. We were won over by its value proposition, which meets a clearly identified need in a sizable market. This funding round should enable the company to consolidate its partnership strategy with the banking sector and continue growing its direct customer base”.
