Now that remote work has become an essential part of how companies are organized, it is all the more important for decision-makers to have a single, up-to-date version of their business data, accessible within a collaborative solution.

EMASPHERE, the management platform that digitalizes and simplifies business steering, aims to transform companies' decision-making processes. The solution provides executive and finance teams, and soon HR and sales teams, with reliable, up-to-date management indicators based on data from all the company's software: accounting, HR, CRM, ERP, …

The software, which stands apart from BI tools thanks to its ease of implementation, its advanced business features and its team of experts, gives the company's decision-makers a shared frame of reference. Performance tracking and analysis no longer require searching for and collecting information first, communication is easier, and decisions can be made with confidence.

An institutional and private funding round

Despite a challenging context, EMASPHERE was able to demonstrate its vision and present a compelling project to its investors. With its cloud solution, the company provides businesses with a management platform that leverages all their data centrally, giving them a clear, up-to-date view of the health of their business.

Won over by the project, EMASPHERE's existing shareholders followed, along with new institutional and private shareholders such as Sambrinvest and the Luxembourg fund Dedicated.

Antoine Duchateau, Chairman of EMASPHERE, says: “EMASPHERE is a great project that gives companies of all sizes management indicators as precise as those available to large corporations. The technology we use allows us to offer decision-makers a solution that is quick to implement, easy to use and affordable.”

According to Olivier Mertens, Investment Manager at Sambrinvest, “EMASPHERE had a very strong 2019, reaching a level of MRR (Monthly Recurring Revenue) and a velocity that offer great prospects. Several companies in our portfolio, such as Utopix and the Cayman group, use EMASPHERE, which allowed us to see first-hand all the value the solution delivers. These factors convinced us to invest in the company. We are delighted to welcome a scale-up like EMASPHERE and to support it in its growth.”

Accelerating growth in France and internationally

When it launched, EMASPHERE first focused on the Belgian market from its offices in Louvain-La-Neuve and Ghent. Following a funding round in 2018, the company entered France with a 10-person team based in Paris.

This new round will strengthen this international effort and allow more European companies to benefit from the platform and its services.

Didier Vankeerberghen, Co-CEO of EMASPHERE, states: “2019 was an important year for building partnerships in France. Our solution has been very well received by French CEOs and CFOs, and our goal is to quickly increase our visibility among these decision-makers. In addition, several accounting firms such as PwC pour les Entrepreneurs, Grant Thornton, Crowe Ficorec, … have chosen to integrate our platform into the services they offer their clients, giving us deeper insight into the French business landscape.”

Meeting the needs of all decision-makers

After strong revenue growth between 2018 and 2019, EMASPHERE now wants to extend its offering to new decision-maker profiles: sales and human resources departments.

Hugues Vandepeutte, Co-CEO of EMASPHERE, explains: “Our goal has always been to address all of a company's decision-makers. We first developed a steering platform designed mainly for finance departments. This funding round will allow us to develop new modules that meet the needs of sales and HR departments in particular, which, due to a lack of time but also of tools, do not always have reliable management indicators available in real time. These components will make communication easier between all the company's decision-makers. Within a single platform, everyone will be able to track how their performance is evolving and its impact on the business as a whole.”

These new management modules are scheduled to launch in the last quarter of 2020.
