This article offers you a before and after overview of the recent changes in EMAsphere in order to make it easier for you to get used to the new version of EMAsphere and to improve your use of it.

Following the recent EMAsphere update, your dashboard has been given a makeover! Don't wait any longer and discover these new features!
1. The App Bar
EMAsphere before :
Previously, you could find the different modules available in EMAsphere via the EMAsphere explorer at the top right of your screen.
EMAsphere today :
Now, the different modules, known as sections, are in the App bar and are grouped together in different apps.
Here are the different apps you will find in your environment :
- Reporting : allows you to select the menu you want to display in your dashboard
- Data : gathers the different sections related to your data by allowing you to manage your situations, the job monitoring (status of data imports), the manual adjustments and everything related to forecast/budget.
- Creation : gathers the different sections related to the creation of your environment (tables, charts, KPIs and Slide decks).
- Settings : gathers the different sections related to configure your environment (manage the analytic part, the account categories, the exercises and the operational flows).
- Share : This application allows you to manage your users and access rights

2. Cash Forecast
a. Discover the new edition window
This window has been updated to make it easier and more efficient for you to configure your forecast.
b. New life cycle for the Cash Forecast
EMAsphere before:
Previously, you had to create and validate a P&L (Profit and Lost) forecast in order to use it as the basis for your cash forecast. This has been updated to make it easier and more efficient for you to configure your forecast.
EMAsphere today :
In the configuration window, you can directly select a P&L forecast that is currently being edited to create your cash forecast.
You need to change your P&L? Make the necessary changes, and they will be reflected in your cash forecast in just one click.
c. New Synchronisation button
A new button for synchronizing the forecast P&L with the cash forecast is now visible on the cash forecast screen. This function is directly linked to the one described above.
This button allows you to see whether the data in your cash forecast is up to date in relation to the data in your P&L. If any changes have been made, it will synchronize the data in your P&L forecast with your cash forecast.

3. Other news
a. The search bar :
The search bar icon is at the top right of your screen, at the application bar level. This allows you to search directly for one of the sections (formerly modules) included in the various apps.
Position your mouse over the icon to display the search field:
b. The context bar :
Your context bar has been redesigned to contain only the following elements, with the other components now in the app bar:

c. The Hints
Another new feature following the update is the hints you will find on various elements of the platform. Feel free to click on them.

- Would you like to open a section in a new tab? Position yourself on the wanted section and use one of the following shortcuts with your mouse :
- Right-click + open link in new tab
- Middle button click
- CTRL + left click
- Would you like to open the magnifying glass to display the search bar?
