Thanks to EMAsphere, Hills Health was able to go beyond Odoo’s standard reporting and manipulate each dataset and entity according to their specific needs.
As Tamara explains, “We can now continuously show what’s happening, and what’s coming next.” A real game-changer for the finance team, and soon for every department in the company!
What was missing
Hills Health had consolidated a large number of financial systems from different entities using TM1.
As Natasha explains, “In principle, it worked, but it was very manual and didn’t provide all the answers our finance team needed.”
What changed
The company then implemented a new ERP system, Odoo, which naturally led the team to EMAsphere.
“It’s become much easier to report on our finances every month, and we’d like to create more views, because there are no limits on the platform!”

“We managed to build and customise everything directly in EMAsphere.”.
Tamara explains that this wasn’t possible in Odoo without importing data through Excel. EMAsphere is highly customisable, dashboards can be built around the exact information you want to track. “We really focus on two main ratios,” she adds, “one for management work and one for direct work.” -
“Another limitation with Odoo is that the budgeting function doesn’t exist.”
EMAsphere, on the other hand, offers full budgeting capabilities. Starting from scratch or from an existing fiscal year, users can easily build a budget, with or without analytical dimensions. Of course, it’s also possible to track performance throughout the year and compare budget versus actuals. -
“During our three implementation sessions, we learned the basics of the tool, and what’s great is that we’re now fully autonomous!”
EMAsphere provides training sessions for platform users, allowing them to quickly become independent.Tamara adds, “We can also book additional training sessions with our account manager whenever we need to.” -
“The visuals in EMAsphere are much more attractive than anything we’ve used before!”
Tamara told us about her previous experience with Excel and other non-specialised tools. She emphasises how much easier it is to read and interpret EMAsphere dashboards. -

Tamara shares her goal of expanding EMAsphere access to the HR and Sales teams: “It would allow each department to have the information they need. Right now, they don’t have visibility over their budgets, even though we already have a platform that can make it easy for them!”
Focus: why add non-financial data to EMAsphere?

Tamara explains, “Salaries represent half of our costs. All HR-related data would be very valuable to connect in EMAsphere, especially with the HR Plug & Play module EMAsphere is offering.”

“We also struggle to generate reports from our sales module,” Tamara adds.
“A few months ago, three or four, we switched to HubSpot, and I believe connecting EMAsphere and HubSpot would be both interesting and very useful for us.”
