Who is Next Decision?
Olivier Marquis: Next Decision is a firm specializing in Business Intelligence, Data & Big Data, Master Data Management, HR Management, Budgeting and Business Apps. The company was founded in 2010 by two experts in decision-support technologies to address the data management and data use challenges companies face. Today, we have around ten offices across France, where more than 160 consultants help our clients implement and adopt business management solutions.
How do you support your clients in their transformation?
Olivier Marquis: We have seen it since Next Decision was founded: data is becoming an increasingly important and central topic for our clients. Decision-makers need to be able to base their decisions on reliable, up-to-date information without spending time searching for and cleaning data. We support them in choosing the right tool, but also with implementation and training. We work with companies in every industry, but have developed sector expertise in the following areas: Banking, Insurance, Transportation, Retail and e-commerce, Manufacturing, Services, and Web behavioral analytics. Today, more than 300 clients trust us, and together we have delivered 450 projects!
In your view, what is the strength of the Next Decision / EMASPHERE partnership?
Olivier Marquis: Our partnership allows decision-makers to go further in managing and analyzing their data. EMASPHERE combines ease of use, ready-to-use visualizations and expert features (cash management, forecasting, management consolidation, …). Combined with our 10 years of experience in the field, the platform gives our clients all the information and insight they need to make informed decisions.
One last word: if you were a Belgian specialty*, which one would you be?
Olivier Marquis: Without hesitation, a Tripel Karmeliet, one of my favorite beers! In fact, we launched our own microbrewery at Next Decision in 2020. So far, the results don't quite match the Tripel Karmeliet… But we're getting there!
*EMASPHERE was founded in Belgium in 2015. Our solution is perfectly suited to the specifics of the French market. Since 2018, we have been present in France through our office in Paris.
