BeVet saves around €15,000 a year and recoups its EMASPHERE costs in two months

Fast-growing veterinary network BeVet (Wallonia and Brussels) now tracks its business down to invoice level with EMASPHERE. The result: around €15,000 a year saved in recurring costs, and a platform that paid for itself within two months.

A fast-growing company, BeVet connects its BOB50 accounting software to EMASPHERE.

  • If I could go back... I’d choose EMASPHERE from day one. Financial reporting is key! Understanding where your profitability comes from and how your business evolves month by month is essential.

Essential software for high-growth companies

“When you launch a startup, you might think ‘I’ll adopt EMASPHERE a bit later’, but ‘a bit later’ just adds complexity to your business,” says the CFO. The later you integrate new software with your existing tools, the more complex the job becomes. “And reporting matters to every stakeholder: your board, the banks and even you as a manager. Being able to monitor your company from day one is essential,” says Brieuc de Lamotte.

Invoice-level visibility in a double-click

With EMASPHERE, BeVet can drill down into the details of its reporting. “I can double-click on certain figures and see the detail, invoice by invoice. That means we can track medicine purchases practice by practice, for example, or staff costs. That kind of invoice-level visibility is simply impossible in Excel,” explains the CFO.

Synergies found invoice by invoice

BeVet had poor visibility over lots of small invoices. “Thanks to EMASPHERE, we identified many synergies and saved around €15,000 a year in recurring costs. So within two months, the platform had paid for itself,” said Edouard Della Faille, CEO and co-founder of BeVet, in June 2023.
